Course Overview

This 5-hour introductory course is designed to build a strong foundation in safe, confident, and effective handgun use. Students will receive a combination of lecture, dry-fire, and live-fire instruction, all delivered by military and law enforcement veterans. Whether you’re a first-time gun owner or returning to fundamentals, this course will strengthen your marksmanship and personal readiness.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Firearms & Range Safety Protocols
  • Handgun Nomenclature and Basic Function
  • Proper Gun Handling: Loading, Unloading, and Status Checks
  • Marksmanship Fundamentals: Grip, Stance, Sight Alignment, and Trigger Control
  • Presentation from the Holster
  • Emergency and Tactical Reload Techniques
  • Surgical Speed Shooting (fast, accurate first-round hits)

What to Bring

A quality semi-automatic handgun (9mm preferred)

2–3 magazines

200–300 rounds of ammunition

Outside-the-waistband (OWB) holster

Prerequisites: Completion of Fundamental Handgun Skills or equivalent experience

Course Overview

This course is designed for firearm owners who want to move beyond static range drills and into dynamic, real-world defensive handgun use. Students will learn to apply tactical skills under stress, including shooting on the move, engaging multiple threats, and making rapid decisions in close quarters. Ideal for concealed carriers, security personnel, or anyone serious about personal defense.

  • Defensive mindset and use-of-force considerations
  • Drawing from concealment and presentation under pressure
  • Movement-based shooting (lateral, forward, rearward)

Course Overview

Designed for concealed carry permit holders and everyday carriers, this course focuses on the critical skills required to carry a firearm responsibly and respond effectively under pressure. Through realistic scenarios and stress-inducing drills, students will build the judgment, tactics, and composure needed for defensive encounters in public settings.

Home Defense Fundamentals

Duration: 5 Hours

Skill Level: All Levels (Recommended: Completion of Basic Handgun Skills)

Course Overview

This course prepares responsible gun owners to defend their home and loved ones with confidence and precision. Students will learn how to set up a home defense plan, use their environment to their advantage, and respond effectively to potential threats—including during low-light or high-stress situations.

This course blends classroom instruction, dry runs, and live-fire exercises focused on close-quarters defensive engagement.

What You’ll Learn

  • Legal considerations and use-of-force in home defense
  • Home layout analysis and establishing safe zones
  • Threat identification and safe engagement angles
  • Communication and coordination with family members
  • Room entries and movement in confined spaces
  • Low-light techniques using handheld and weapon-mounted lights

Low-Light Shooting Techniques

Duration: 4–5 Hours (Evening Course)

Course Overview

Most deadly force encounters occur in reduced-light environments—yet few train for it. This course is designed to equip students with the skills, techniques, and confidence needed to safely and effectively engage threats in low-light and no-light conditions.

Students will learn a variety of handheld and weapon-mounted light techniques, how to manage target identification, and how to shoot accurately under visual stress.

 

What You’ll Learn

  • Physiology of vision under stress and darkness
  • Flashlight selection and setup (handheld vs. weapon-mounted)
  • Proper flashlight-handgun integration (FBI, Harries, Rogers, etc.)
  • Target identification and discrimination
  • Light discipline and movement under low-light conditions
  • Common low-light mistakes and how to avoid them
  • Live-fire drills simulating real-world lighting scenarios

This course is designed to prepare armed citizens, business owners, and professionals to respond effectively to active threat situations—including active shooters, workplace violence, or public attacks.

Drawing from military, law enforcement, and counterterrorism principles, this training focuses on fast decision-making, precision under pressure, and structured response strategies when seconds count.

Ideal for individuals, church security teams, school staff, or workplace safety coordinators.

What You’ll Learn

  • Understanding active threat dynamics and response priorities
  • Immediate action drills: fight, escape, or barricade
  • Movement under fire: solo and team-based
